Seems like Jake couldn't decide where those dogs came from he was looking at on tv in the picture below. He was the perfect "editor" for this segment of the dog tales movies being created. This was a keeper...

Canine Litter Mate Similar But Different.
The great thing about adopting litter mates is they will have each other. Seems like double the trouble but the rewards as pet care giver is double the fun. These two are a riot to observe. We can't believe they came from the same litter. She is really short, stout, smooth coat and looks like a pit bull, he is tall, lanky, and long haired. She is prissy and doesn't like to be held, he craves having someone next to him. We love these dogs so much. They are very individual in their own way.

Puppies Love Their Toys
Teaching puppy Jazzy to fetch her toy was easy, getting her to release it was another issue. This picture shows her retrieving her favorite toy then. Now she has another favorite. The new toys without stuffing seem to much safer for us.

Puppies Get New Playground
Jake And Jazzy Finally Get To Their "Forever Home"
We kept the foster names for Jake and Jazzy and they fit them well. Both have nicknames now. Jazzy has three white toe nails and prances around on her toes like a ballet princess so to us she is "Twinkle Toes". Jake is Jakers and we don't know why.

The Love Begins At First Sight
Although this is not my favorite photo, it was the beginning of a journey my husband and I began when we decided to open our hearts and home to two puppies who fought for life.
Originally planning to bring home one puppy, foster mom, Barbara, had no trouble convincing us to keep brother and sister together.
Bonding was just the beginning, the tale these two have endoured is far from amazing. This blog is dedicated to their survival and a some of my favorite moments with them caputred in pictures.
